Who we are
Abraham & Tours are a group of fun and friendly hostels that cater to independent travelers looking to explore Israel and experience our beautiful country and the Middle East to the fullest. Our Four hostels are located in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Nazareth and Eilat and we operate tours all around Israel, the West Bank, Egypt and Jordan! To us, a hostel is more than just a place, it’s all about the people.

What the role is
The kitchen opens in the morning and closes at night, and the work is physical and independent. Breakfast includes basic cold food and it is served to 400 guests. The Employees’ lunch consists of preparing simple food and in the evening there is a bar menu. The work is organized in shifts of 6-9 hours a day, between 4-6 days a week.

What you will be doing

  • Arrange and fill the food in the serving bowls
  • Work accordingly to the item list and serving standard
  • Keep the buffet clean
  • Cook lunch for hostel employees
  • Receive orders and prepare dishes from the bar menu
  • Arrange, organize and clean the kitchen

  • Love for food and cooking :)
  • Responsibility, diligence, and high work ethic
  • Good level of Hebrew or English
  • Flexibility for working shifts
  • Experience in the kitchen - Advantage
  • Israeli citizenship or work visa in Israel is required for this position.
