Abraham Hostel Tel Aviv is looking for the next Kitchen Manager!
The Kitchen Manager is in charge of leading the kitchen team as well as being in charge of all ongoing kitchen activity throughout the week, including weekends & holidays.

Job Description:
  • Supervising all kitchen duties – guest breakfast, staff lunch, evening service and special events
  • Inventory management, including making orders, keeping and uploading invoices and working with different suppliers.
  • Responsibility for keeping up with health code laws, sanitation and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Training, managing and scheduling the kitchen staff – cooks & dish washers.
  • Creating & updating recipes and dishes for lunch, dinner service and special events.
  • Cooperating with the needs of the hostel bar and events department.
  • Job Requirements:
  • At least two years of experience in kitchens – hot/cold service
  • High level of English
  • Management experience – advantage
  • Backpacking experience – advantage
  • Two-year commitment

    The position is full time. Phone availability during all kitchen activity hours (weekends included) is required. The kitchen manager reports directly to the hostel manager.
