Who we are
Abraham & Tours are a group of fun and friendly hostels that cater to independent travelers looking to explore Israel and experience our beautiful country and the Middle East to the fullest. Our Five hostels are located in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Nazareth, Eilat, and Sinai, and we operate tours all around Israel, the West Bank, Egypt, and Jordan. To us, a hostel is more than just a place, it’s all about the people.

What the role is
The kitchen opens at 6 am and closes at 1:30 pm, and the work is physical and independent. Breakfast includes basic cold food and it is served to 200 guests. The Employees’ lunch consists of preparing simple food and in the evening there is a bar menu. The work is organized in shifts of 6-9 hours a day, between 3-4 days a week. Availability for special food events is required.

What you will be doing
  • Arrange and fill the food in the serving bowls
  • Cook lunch for hostel employees
  • Keep the buffet and the kitchen clean and organized
  • prepare service for the bar menu
  • Handle inventory
    • What you should have
  • Love for food and cooking :)
  • Good level of Hebrew or English
  • Flexibility for working shifts, including weekends
  • Experience in the kitchen - Advantage
  • Responsibility, diligence, and high work ethic
