Who we are
Abraham & Tours are a group of fun and friendly hostels catering to independent travelers looking to explore Israel and experience our beautiful country and the Middle East. Our Five hostels are located in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Nazareth, Eilat, Sinai, and the Philippines and we operate tours all around Israel, the West Bank, Egypt, Jordan, and the Philippines. To us, a hostel is more than just a place, it’s all about the people.

What the role is
The one behind the scenes of the tours. Responsible for the coordination and logistics related to the planning and execution of the various tours. Work that is not face-to-face with customers - and more significantly, work that is less with tourists and guests. More office work and in front of a computer and systems environment but also going to the tours. Team Work.

What the job's all about?
  • The tour is operated from the moment it is sold to the customer
  • Operation during the tour
  • Working with drivers and suppliers (Jordanian, Palestinian, Israeli). Book a guide, book a bus/shuttle, and inventory management
  • Coordination with parties in the field such as entry to various sites, border crossings, food, and data lists of the tourists on the tour (phones, passports, etc.).
  • Work with a lot of ongoing tasks but also fully deal with unplanned issues in real moments during the tour.
  • To make sure the tour is dispatched and to be there when they return - many of the tours leave from Jerusalem and thus whoever is physically there to make sure that the tour leaves with everyone who is supposed to be on it
    • If you have...
  • 4-5 shifts including weekends and holidays (full time job)
  • Hebrew and English at a high level
  • Independence and responsibility
  • At least one year of work experience in another job, preferably in the field of some kind of customer service or tourism
  • Fast absorption capacity
  • Commitment for at least one year in the organization
  • Travel/hostel experience - preferred

  • Israeli citizenship or a work visa in Israel is required for this position
