Abraham Hostels & Tours are a group of fun and friendly hostels that cater to independent travelers looking to explore Israel and experience our beautiful country and the Middle East to the fullest. Our Four hostels are located in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Nazareth and Eilat and we operate tours all around Israel, the West Bank, Egypt and Jordan! To us, a hostel is more than just a place, it’s all about the people.
What the role is
Management of business activities, staff, budget and day-to-day operations of Abraham Hostel Tel Aviv. Full time job from Tel Aviv, including weekends and holidays.

What you will be doing
business authority over the hostel including income, expenses, profit and loss, control and monitoring
Assist in preparing the annual budget and meeting its goals
Recruitment, training and management of the staff (3-5 managers, 20-40 employees)
Responsibility for meeting the high standards of the group in the areas of service and sales
Ongoing operation of the hostel's activities: Accommodation, Bar, Kitchen, Maintenance, Business license, Quality control, Subcontractors
Work in coordination with the chain's management, other hostels in the chain and the headquarters departments (Marketing, Finance, HR, Tours, etc.)
Create collaborations with the local community
To apply you must:
2 years of previous managerial experience (including management of managers) - A must!
Experience in managing financial cycles of 500K NIS or more
A very high level of Hebrew and English
Work experience in tourism and hotels - An advantage
Ability to build a team of managers and lead them to the goals of the organization
Great understanding of complex technological systems
Israeli citizenship or work visa in Israel is required for this position!
