Kitchen Manager

Program Summary:

Who we are Abraham Hostels & Tours are a group of fun and friendly hostels that cater to independent travelers looking to explore Israel and experience our beautiful country and the Middle East to the fullest. Our Four hostels are located in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Nazareth and Eilat and we operate tours all around Israel, the West Bank, Egypt and Jordan! To us, a hostel is more than just a place, it’s all about the people. What the role is The kitchen opens in the morning and closes at night, and serves basic breakfast to guests, employees’ lunch, and a bar menu in the evening. The work is organized in shifts of 6-9 hours a day, between 5-6 days a week, Including weekends and holidays.

What you will be doing

  • Cook breakfast and lunch
  • preparing dishes from the bar menu
  • Responsibility for the kitchen employees
  • Upgrade menus
  • Manage reservations and storage
  • Keep cleaning protocols and standard

  • To apply you must:

  • Experience in the kitchen - A must
  • Management experience - An advantage
  • Responsibility, diligence, and high work ethic
  • Good level of Hebrew or English
  • Flexibility for working shifts

  • Israeli citizenship or work visa in Israel
  • Please note - The program is for non-Israeli foreigners ONLY!
