Receptionist

Program Summary:

We're looking for hard-working and motivated individuals to join our reception - the heart and soul of Abraham Hostel Jerusalem! Work in a fun, international environment and help travelers from around the world experience Jerusalem and Israel to the fullest.

Job Description

  • Assisting travelers during their stay at the hostel, problem solving, providing tourist information and recommendations
  • Dealing with reservations, answering emails and phones
  • Being part of the hostel's heart and soul - working with all departments and being the first contact point for all guests

    • To apply you must:

  • Responsible, independent & highly motivated
  • Fluent English and Hebrew, both written & spoken
  • Great personal relations - should be excellent "team player"
  • Previous experience in customer service
  • Previous experience in tourism - advantage
  • Traveling history as a backpacker
  • Willing to work at least 4 shifts per week throughout the year, including nights, weekdays, weekends & holidays
  • Commitment for at least one year
