Reception Manager

Program Summary:

Who we are Abraham & Tours are a group of fun and friendly hostels that cater to independent travelers looking to explore Israel and experience our beautiful country and the Middle East to the fullest. Our Five hostels are located in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Nazareth Eilat, and Sinai, and we operate tours all around Israel, the West Bank, Egypt, and Jordan! To us, a hostel is more than just a place, it’s all about the people. What the role is This is one of the most important and essential roles in the hostel, that requires a service-oriented mind, organizational skills, people skills, and lots of motivation! The job is full-time and requires availability on weekends (at least once a month). Starting date as soon as possible. There will be an initial training period (2 months) taking place also in our hostels in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

What you will be doing

  • Responsibility for the hostel’s sales and customer service
  • Responsibility for of all guest relations issues, including dealing with sensitive situations
  • Responsibility for maintaining and improving room sales and reservations
  • Responsibility for maintaining and improving hostel ratings and reviews
  • Training and managing the reception team (about 10 staff members)
  • To apply you must:

  • Managerial experience of 2 years
  • Experience in customer service
  • Very high level of Hebrew and English
  • Passion for hostels, backpacking and tourism
  • Technological orientation
  • Experience working in the hostels/tourism world - An advantage

  • An Israeli citizenship or valid Israeli work visa is required in order to apply for this position!
